Exhibition Outline
“A World of Artists in Kagawa”
An art exhibition of works by international residents of Kagawa
Exhibition Theme:
The creation of art is influenced by many factors including one’s surrounding environment, past and current. Kagawa’s international residents who have grown up outside of Japan approach art making with a perspective that is based on native roots but incorporates a new way of seeing found while living in Kagawa. Through displaying the works of international residents of Kagawa, the goal of this exhibition is to explore the effects and influences that living in Kagawa has on an artist’s sense of creating art and the art works produced.
