Profile: Julia Mace was born near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the U.S.A. and later moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico.  She graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Religious Studies and later attended the Divinity School at the University of Chicago.  After working for several years, Julia came to Kagawa, Japan where she has been residing for the past 6 months.  She has plans to remain in Japan for the next three years.  Julia has been interested in artistic expression since childhood.  She especially enjoys Art Nouveau, Ikebana, and Haiku (several of which have been published and won in local competition).
