Profile: Horrorwood is the artistic persona of Jack Hankins.
Jack is a British artist who expatriated to Japan in 2006.
He lives with his wife and son in Takamatsu, Kagawa.
His work is mostly focused on illustration, especially character design, and he is also heavily involved in the paper toy scene. Horrorwood encompasses a wide variety of themes and motifs including nature, myths and legends, Western and Japanese culture and traditions, and of course horror.
Jack is also one of the founding members and organizers of the regular group art show, The Art of Gravity based in Takamatsu.

ホラー・ＳＦ・自然・
イラストやペーパークラフトに展開するなど、国内外で活躍の場を広げている。
高松ではグループ展「The Art of Gravity」を主催。北浜アリーにて定期的に開催している。
